The project consists of 8 embankment repairs totaling 2,150 CY, 6 Agri-drain water control structure repairs/replacements, installation of 2 low-water crossings, and 4 acres of seeding and mulching. The project is located in Lancaster and Saunders Counties in Nebraska. It is approximately 1 mile south and 0.5 mile east from the city of Ceresco, NE.

Alpine Wetlands

Project Description:
Location:
The project consists of replacing a headgate on the Salt River; regrading of the headgate area and downstream Coot Ditch; replacing a road culvert; armoring five reservoir spillways; and replacement of a water control structure. Specifically, three concrete headwalls are to be poured with two screwgates installed on the upstream two headwalls. 60 linear of feet of concrete pipe (ranging from 36” to 48” diameter) will be installed between the headwalls with drill stem reinforcement included. The headgate area will be reconfigured and regarded with a total excavation/placement of 1,613 CY. The downstream inlet channel is to be regraded with a total cut of 1,230 CY. The existing culvert is to be replaced at the road crossing with a 45’ long aluminum box culvert. Five total reservoir spillways are to be armored with a total of 105 CY of DU Class II rock riprap. One water control structure will be replaced on the Goldeneye Reservoir which includes 52 linear feet of SDR 51 PVC pipe install and 4 CY of DU Class II rock riprap. Project work also includes a dewatering effort at the headgate, traffic control and maintenance at the road culvert, and removal and off-site disposal of existing pipe and water control structures. The project is located in Lincoln County, Wyoming. It is approximately 3.5 miles south of the town of Alpine, WY.

Grand Valley Audubon Center Endangered Fish Ponds

The project consists of excavating 5,719 C.Y. of material constructing a ditches, regrading a wetland and building up an embankment. The project includes the installation of a concrete Fish Kettle, Concrete Channel with Rubicon Flume Gate, 2 – screw gates, square manhole, with 38 L.F. of 2’x3’ concrete pre-cast box culverts, 2 -90 degree concrete box culvert bends, 80 L.F. of 24” 16-guage corrugated metal pipe, 14 L.F. 24” dual wall HDPE pipe, 98 C.Y. of DU Class II rock riprap w/ filter fabric, 80 C.Y. of 1/4" Minus Gravel w/ Filter Fabric, 150 C.Y. of 1/2" Minus Gravel w/ Filter Fabric, 38 C.Y. of 1/2" Minus Gravel, of 24 C.Y. of 2” Drain Rock Bedding, 2,020 S.F. of 6” Thick Geocells, a removal of a walking bridge and a 2” 18-guage lockable road gate and their associated materials, which will be supplied and installed by the contractor. All work shall be completed with plans and specifications developed by Ducks Unlimited, Inc.
