Project Description:
Location:
The project consists of redrilling an existing artesian well within the Blanca Wetlands BLM property northeast of Alamosa, CO. The proposed well will extend to a total depth of 900-ft to the bottom of the decreed aquifer. Ducks Unlimited will coordinate with the selected contractor to stake the redrill location within 200-ft of the existing wellhead. Contractor will be responsible for drilling the well, geophysical logging, supply of necessary materials, installation of well infrastructure, well testing, well development, supply & install of surface level water distribution, supply & install of a 500 GPM pump and capping & abandonment of the existing well site. All associated materials will be supplied and installed by the contractor. There will be a site showing on Monday, June 29th, 2026 at 2:00 pm MST (See Notice to Bidders).
Located in Alamosa County, Colorado. It is approximately 15 miles northeast of Alamosa, CO.
